Dividend Wheel
The wheel is already an income strategy — adding dividend-paying underlyings stacks two yield streams on top of each other. When you get assigned, you collect the dividend while you wait. When the stock gets called away, you've collected premium twice plus dividend. This list filters live for stocks with ≥2% yield and ≥$10B market cap, automatically excluding small-cap dividend traps.
Selection Criteria
- Dividend yield ≥ 2%
- Market cap ≥ $10 billion (excludes small-cap dividend traps)
- Updated live from current market data
- Filters apply on top of standard screener criteria

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I collect the dividend if I'm short a put?
No — you only collect dividends if you actually own the shares. The wheel is designed so that assignment puts you in the stock, at which point you start collecting dividends until the shares are called away.
Does selling covered calls affect my dividend?
Not directly — you still own the shares, so you collect the dividend as long as you hold through the ex-date. However, if your call goes deep ITM near ex-div, there's a risk of early assignment to capture the dividend.
Why exclude small-cap dividend stocks?
Small-cap stocks with high dividend yields are often 'dividend traps' — high yield because the price has fallen, often signaling fundamental problems. The $10B cap floor screens out most of these.
