My Position

Opty Exclusivedraws on the price

Your cost basis, premium-adjusted breakeven and any open strikes, drawn on the price axis. Only appears on names you actually hold.

On this chart: Basis, breakeven and open strikes, read from your journal — only on names you hold.

What it measures

My Position draws the levels that are yours: cost basis, the true breakeven after netting collected premium, and every strike you have open — read live from your trade journal. Owned levels draw solid with filled chips; reference strikes from the entry signals draw thin and dotted, so what is real money and what is a suggestion can never be confused.

If a name is held in more than one account, the account scope selector beside the chart decides whose basis is drawn — and a blended basis says so, because a number averaged across accounts exists in none of them.

How to read it

Hover any chip for what the level is, which account holds it, and what happens when price crosses it. The gap between basis and premium-adjusted breakeven is the wheel's engine made visible: every sold call drags the breakeven line lower whether or not the stock recovers.

Using it on the wheel

This overlay is the wheel's scoreboard on the chart. Where price sits relative to your breakeven — not your basis — is the number that describes the position's true state, and watching an open covered-call strike against the price action is how the current leg is tracked. A recovery position's repair math (premium walking the breakeven down toward the market) is legible here in a way no table shows.

Like everything in this guide, these are descriptions of conditions and reference levels — context for your own decisions, not instructions to trade.
